With reference to the purposes described below, the Organization may process the following
categories of personal data:

  • COMMON PERSONAL DATA
PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING The processing of personal data is related to the management of requests submitted by individuals
through the MIRS website.
Specifically: handling the request, providing necessary assistance, and contacting the individual directly via
email or phone.
LEGAL BASES

The aforementioned purposes of processing are based on the following legal grounds:

  • Article 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679: the data subject has given consent to the
    processing of
    their personal data for one or more specific purposes.
CATEGORIES OF DATA RECIPIENTS

The Organization may disclose the personal data provided in order to fulfill obligations imposed
by laws, regulations, or EU legislation to the following categories of recipients:

  • Entities to whom the communication of personal data is necessary or functional for the management of the
    requested
    services, in the ways and for the purposes outlined above;
  • Entities exercising forms of access to
    administrative documentation (including but not limited to: civic access, generalized civic access,
    document access, etc.);
  • Supervisory and control authorities;
  • Consultants and independent professionals,
    including in associated form;
  • Other Public Administrations;
  • Data processors appointed pursuant to Article 28
    of Regulation (EU) 2016/679

PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA RETENTION The data will be kept in accordance with the regulations on the retention of administrative
documentation; in any case, the personal data subject to processing will be retained for the period necessary to
comply with legal obligations related to the data controller’s document retention plan.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT The data subject has the right to request at any time from the undersigned Organization access to
their personal data, the correction of the data if it is inaccurate, as well as its deletion. The data subject
may also request the restriction of the processing concerning them and may object to it if it is being carried
out unlawfully. The appropriate request to exercise the aforementioned rights may be submitted either to the
undersigned Data Controller or to the appointed Data Protection Officer, using the contact details provided
above (pursuant to Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR). The data subject also has the right to file a complaint
with the competent Supervisory Authority, the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei
Dati Personali).
PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA It is important to note that the provision and communication of personal data as listed above is
mandatory according to the conditions specifically outlined by law. It should be highlighted that refusal to
provide information that is legally required and necessary may result in the inability to process the requests
submitted.
COLLECTION OF CONSENT FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
CONSENT

Consent is requested for the processing of personal data in order to manage your requests,
including through direct contact, made via the “MIRS – INTERACTIVE MUSEUM OF RADIO AND SOCIETY” website.

It is reminded that, pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 3, of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “The data subject has the
right to withdraw their consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of
processing based on consent before its withdrawal.”

If consent is not provided, this will result in the inability to manage the requests.
